Ferry Service

The scheduled ferry service between Wallasea and Burnham will be running every weekend and Bank Holiday Monday until the end of August and at other times by arrangement.

Additional Trips:
Monday 16th August All day trip to Brightlingsea 10am to 6pm £25.00
Wednesday 18th August Evening trip to Fambridge Ferry Boat Inn 6.00pm to 10.00pm £15.00.

Lady Essex III can carry a maximum of 12 passengers when running under Code of Practice and up to 40 passengers for Class V & VI operations (please see charter page) our other boat, the Deplorer II, can also carry a maximum of 12. All tickets are singles and are priced at £3.00 bicycles and collapsible buggies are £1.00.

Please telephone 01702 258666 for advanced bookings alternatively the Skippers mobile number is displayed on our dockside notices for those requiring our earliest attention. Unless pre booked the last passage will normally be at 5.00pm. This service will be running everyday.

Eating in Burnham
We can highly recommend a trip to Burnham for lunch where you will find that both the Galley Restaurant and the Contented Sole Restaurant offer fantastic food.

Gift Vouchers
You are able to purchase gift vouchers for our popular seal and wildlife trips as gifts. These can be sent directly to the person or can be forwarded to you. The lucky benefactor can then book a trip to suit their diary.

Disclaimer
We cannot be held responsible in the event that a trip is cancelled due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will whenever possible attempt to inform our pre booked passengers of any enforced changes and will of course validate their tickets for an alternative sailing. We cannot be held responsible for enforced changes affecting the ferry service.
