The 2011 Thornback season is in full swing, the first bass are showing and there are still codling to be had.
A local club enjoyed a decent catch of Rays close to home last Sunday see photo above.

February 2011
After a really hard winter in terms of fish, things have started
moving again with Thornbacks showing inshore and a few codling and
the occasional big cod are showing on the offshore marks.
October 2010
Sport offshore is superb with good numbers of cod to over 20lb and plenty of thornbacks to.
Our best day so far included 6 double figure cod with the best at 22lb 6oz as well as 16 Roker to 17lb.
Codling to 6lb are now showing in the River together with Whiting and Doggies.
September 2010
Some nice Bass as well as Roker during September as well as Whiting
and Doggies when the wind allows us to get out. Better numbers of eels
inshore than of late as well as some decent flatties. Good (for the
time of year) numbers of Codling and the odd Cod were boated towards
the end of the month.
Women and children are always welcome and usually outfish the men!

How do we do it so Cheaply?
The Boat is owned outright with no crippling mortgage, our engine is well maintained and very fuel efficient, we do not have expensive glossy leaflets for you to pay for and also your vastly experienced full time skipper loves being at sea and therefore is not greedy!
Bait available at additional cost or bring your own.
Our philosophy is that if it costs half the money you can come twice as often. We have no gimmicks - what you see is what you get.
Note. Canopy and bench seats are removed for fishing parties.
